If Mob can be kind and tough when he needs to at the same time, he'll be invencible. it kind of defeats the whole message of the show up to this point, but what Mogami says is true.
I LOVED all the animation in this episode, but Mogami returning and telling Mob that he has to be hard on people, that kindness isn't always the answer. How amazing is when an anime can be the single most impressive show animation wise that I've ever seen, and still have room for thematic meaning. Meanwhile, the boss shows off his powers and they’re definitely formidable even for Mob’s standards, can’t wait to see the eventual showdown between the two! Eerie as ever, got to say, but good thing he got his message across to Mob. Mogami made a reappearance this episode, thanks to those little flies. Great stuff! Poor lad though, what kind of a stupid confession is that even and consequently he just made Mob more furious than he would ever wanted. Lol Reigen taking the initiative to take the cho-powerful esper down though, he really does the most unpredictable of things during the most unpredictable moments. Can’t wait to see him go all out in a fit of rage in the upcoming episode!Īwesome action choreography(thanks for the mesmerising treat as always Studio Bones!) throughout, a special shout-out to that 10-on-1 fight! Ritsu and Teruki sure took a beating this episode but glad to see they emerged victorious in the end through sheer willpower. Mob’s presence really turns the tides around drastically and one of the top 5 admitting that even just goes to show how much hidden potential Mob has yet to reveal.
Arataka then realizes Mob indeed has powers and invites him to start coming daily to show him how to exorcise spirits.īack in the present, Yusuke Sakurai gets behind Arataka and slashes him with his sword, making Arataka fall in front of Mob.Good lord, that sakuga fest was just magnificent! Great episode, overall! As he drops his cup of tea, Mob catches it using his psychic powers. Arataka thought that someone wants to joke with him, but invites Mob and explains that espers are like normal people and he needs to be a good person. Seeing his sign, he comes to his office, saying that he has psychic powers. Seeing them getting hurt and not wanting them to die, Mob's murderous intent reaches 100%, but Arataka slaps him bringing him back to his senses, telling him not to do it as he will suffer later.
Arataka keeps telling Mob to not fight them and run, while Teruki and Ritsu tell him only he can fight them using his full power. The other members then engage Mob, Ritsu and Teruki in a fight. His plan backfires and that only makes the enemy angry with Ishiguro releasing his powers and destroying part of the facility. Having no choice, he decides to fight the Echelon members himself and punches Muraki. Mob heads to fight Ishiguro, but seeing he intending to use psychic powers, Arataka dropkicks Ishiguro, reminding Mob of his rule to not use powers on humans. As the guards were in the range of the attack and assumed they follow Arataka, he informs them to leave and save themselves. Ishiguro attacks him, but Teruki creates a barrier. Seeing Arataka, they wonder who he was and he introduces himself. He tells them to release them and starts heading out, but the Upper Echelon shows up, hearing that the boss had come.
They take him to Mob's group and everyone is shocked to learn that "boss" is Mob's master.
Entering the building, he sees the kids trying to escape and scolds the guards for their actions. The guards stop him as he looks suspicious, but as he acts important and bossy, saying he is there to talk work with his subordinate, they assume he means the 7th division leader and that he is Claw's boss. Meanwhile, Arataka follows Mob's GPS and finds the building he is in. The Upper Echelon members plan on making Mob and the others their new members after they brainwash them, but Sho Suzuki tells them they will be recruited to the HQ. Teruki says that they can't use powers in the room, but Mob is sure that Ritsu can think of something. He wakes up in a room with Ritsu and Teruki and is glad that Ritsu is fine. Mob dreams of when he got lost in the forest with Ritsu and Ritsu figured their way out. As they try to escape the 7th Division, the Upper Echelon stands in their way. However, there is no way that Ishiguro would let them get away with this. Somehow, Reigen is mistakenly thought as the boss of Claw, and easily manages to get inside and save Mob and the others. And then, someone rather unexpected shows up in front of them: Mob's master and self-proclaimed psychic, Reigen. Mob, Ritsu, and Teru are trapped in a room where they can't use their powers.
